Brief historical overview

Ca’ Longo Palace & Casa San Beneto

Ca’ Longo Palace is situated in the Sestiere of Cannaregio, in the close proximity of the Venetian Ghetto and along Fondamenta della Misericordia, where you can find several small local shops, ateliers and authentic hosterie (local pubs). The building has a characteristic façade, with a trifora and four monofore, typical Italian Gothic windows, an architectural style that thrived precisely in the middle of the 15th Century.

The philosophy

The renovation work and conservation project have been designed, planned and supervised by Anteris S.r.l and required a long and complex phase of work. Since the beginning the guiding principles have been cohesion and fidelity. Therefore, the aim of the project has always been preserving the authenticity of the fifteenth-century building, both with the materials used for the renovation and the refurbishment techniques.
